Cell Specification
The MPC from ScienCell Research Laboratories are isolated from neonate
day 8 mouse pituitary gland (or hypophysis). They were frozen on
primary cultures and delivered either frozen or prolifeating culture.
The proliferating cell has been cultured in neuronal medium for
two to three days in our laboratory before delivery. The culture
is about 80% confluent and delivered cold (in gel ice box). They
are negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi. RPC are
guaranteed to further culture in your laboratory in the conditions
provided by ScienCell Research Laboratories.
MPC from ScienCell Research Laboratories are isolated from neonate
rat pituitary. MPC are cryopreserved at primary culture and delivered
frozen. Each vial contains >5 x 105 cells in 1 ml
volume. RPC are characterized by immunofluorescent method with antibodies
to CK19 and GFAP. MPC are negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast
and fungi. MPC are guaranteed to further culture in the condition
provided by ScienCell Research Laboratories.
Recommended Medium It is recommended to use neuronal medium (NM, Cat. No. 1521) for the culturing of mouse pituitary cell in
vitro.
Product Use
MPC are for research use only. They are not approved for human or
animal use, or for application in in vitro diagnostic procedures.
Storage
Transfer cells directly and immediately from dry ice to liquid nitrogen
upon receiving and keep the cells in liquid nitrogen until cell
culture is needed for experiments.
