Molecular BiologyPassaging Human Pluripotent Stem Cells Using STEMium and StemDS

We will demonstrate how to use STEMium- our proprietary serum-free, feeder-free human pluripotent stem cell growth medium and StemDS- a specially formulated stem cell dissociation solution. The following procedure was developed for passaging human pluripotent stem cells, splitting in a 1 to 3 ratio. Please keep in mind that further optimization may be needed for other cell lines. It is also important that users become thoroughly familiar with the entire method before proceeding, as culturing human pluripotent stem cells may require different laboratory techniques than other media and cell lines.
