Mesenchymal Stem Cell Osteogenic Differentiation Medium
(MODM)

Catalog # 7531 (500ml)
Pricing       Publications       Product Sheet       Certificate of Analysis

Description

Mesenchymal stem cells are pluripotent progenitor cells that have the capacity to differentiate into several mesenchymal tissues: osteoblasts, chondrocytes and adipocytes.
Our mesenchymal stem cell osteogenic differentiation medium has been optimized for the osteogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cell (MSCs) in tissue culture plastic-ware. The kit contains all components selected for their ability to maintain MSCs in culture and induce them into the osteogenic lineage. Efficiency of osteogenic differentiation depends on the quanlity of the mesenchymal stem cells.
Mesenchymal Stem Cell osteogenic differentiation medium (MODM) is a sterile, liquid medium which contains essential and non-essential amino acids, vitamins, organic and inorganic compounds, hormones, growth factors, trace minerals. The medium is HEPES and bicarbonate buffered and has a pH of 7.4 when equilibrated in an incubator with an atmosphere of 5% CO2/95% air.

Components

MODM (500ml) consists of 500 ml of basal medium, 25 ml of fetal bovine serum (FBS, Cat. No. 0025), 5 ml of mesenchymal stem cell osteogenic differentiation supplement (MODS-L, Cat. No. 7532-L), 5 ml of penicillin/streptomycin solution (P/S, Cat. No. 0503).

Product Use

MODM is for research use only.  It is not approved for human or animal use, or for application in in vitro diagnostic procedures.

Storage

Store the basal medium at 4°C, the MODS-L and the P/S solution at -20°C. Protect from light.

Shipping
