Research Scientist (Stem Cell Biology)

We are searching for a Research Scientist to assist with our ongoing stem cell research project. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ES and iPS cell generation, culture, and differentiation; stem cell medium development; primary mammalian cell isolation, culture and characterization; research and development of cell culture models; and general laboratory safety.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD or Master’s degree in the life sciences. Preference will go to applicants who have over two years of experience in human ES or iPS cells and are familiar with most stem cell culture techniques. Candidates must be willing to accept a work schedule that varies depending on the company’s needs. Good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of self-motivation are a must.

Associate Molecular Biologist

We are searching for an energetic and self-motivated candidate with a positive attitude and strong work ethic to fill our associate molecular biologist position in our R&D department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working on cell-derived DNA, RNA, and proteins purification, gene expression analysis, performing PCR/RT-PCT/qPCR, SDS PAGE and UV spectrum for quantitation. Candidates should be familiar with electrophoresis, spectrophotometer, centrifugation and other basic laboratory techniques. General lab logistical skills such as record keeping, ordering supplies and ensuring general laboratory safety and cleanliness are also required.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life science with one-year of full time academic or industry specific experience. Associate Cell Biologist

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: preparing human and animal primary cell cultures; purifying, characterizing, and cryopreserving cells; and managing/ organizing cell inventories. Candidates should be familiar with general lab equipment and techniques such as a microscope, a centrifuge, and immunocytochemistry. Preferred candidates will have proficient knowledge of human and animal anatomy. Marketing Associate

The marketing associate will be responsible for planning, implementing and analyzing marketing activities. This position requires the ability to operate on a strategic level, touching all aspects of trade show and web-based marketing. Responsibilities include: planning and implementing new marketing strategies, creating performance reviews, optimizing social media accounts, managing the Google AdWords account and Search Engine Optimization. The Marketing Associate will work with the production team to develop relevant campaigns. Further, he/she will work with all distributors to implement marketing campaigns, control material distribution, and handle logistics. A primary responsibility of the marketing associate is to plan, attend, and follow up on tradeshows in order to generate qualified leads, then ensure that those leads are entered into our customer database for the sales team to reference.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences with 2 years of marketing or sales experience or an MBA in Marketing, Advertising or Business with a Biotech background. A broad skill set is required including excellent written and verbal communication, mid-level graphic design knowledge, and strong analytical/critical thinking. Superb time management and organizational skills are necessary for this position. Further, the ideal candidate must be capable of independently managing multiple complex projects while meeting deadlines.

IT Administrator

We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Responsibilities include: install and configure software and hardware; manage network servers and technology tools; ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls; monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements; troubleshoot issues and outages.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role. Windows and Linux operating system experience. Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management. Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery. Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude. Excellent communication skills. BS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus.
