ScienCell's GeneQuery™ Human Cardiac Myocyte Biology qPCR Array Kit (GQH-CMB) is designed to facilitate gene expression profiling of 88 key genes involved in human cardiac myocyte biology, such as cardiac muscle contraction, cardiac myocyte proliferation and differentiation, and cardiac z-disk signaling network. Genes implicated in selected cardiac myocyte related disorders are also included in the array. Brief examples of how genes may be grouped according to their functions are shown below:
- Cardiac myocyte markers: ACTN1, TNNT2, NKX2-5, GJA1, NPPA, MYH6, MYH7B, TNNI3, CAV3, GATA4, MYL2, MEF2C
- Cardiac muscle contraction: CAMK2s, ATP2As, MYH7, MYL2, CACNA1C, HRC, ITPR3, KCNJ5, TRDN, TPMs
- Cardiac z-disk signaling network: AGTR1, ACTNs, CSRP3, MYOZ2, ITGB1BP2, DES, ITGA1, ITGB1, ILK, CACNA1s, CIB1, MYOZ2/3

GeneQuery™ qPCR array kits are qPCR ready in a 96-well plate format, with each well containing one primer set that can specifically recognize and efficiently amplify a target gene's cDNA. The carefully designed primers ensure that: (i) the optimal annealing temperature in qPCR analysis is 65°C (with 2 mM Mg2+, and no DMSO); (ii) the primer set recognizes all known transcript variants of target gene, unless otherwise indicated; and (iii) only one gene is amplified. Each primer set has been validated by qPCR with melt curve analysis, and gel electrophoresis.
